2026 Salary Range is $40,736-$97,087 yearly (includes locality).

The primary purpose of this position is to provide packaging management control, guidance and procedural policy for the packaging, handling, and storage of aircraft and weapon systems managed by OC-ALC, Tinker AFB.

Duty #1 - Assist in Designing and developing new, or upon approval, modifies existing preservation, packaging, loading and blocking and bracing methods, techniques, containers, etc., for a wide variety of Department of Defense aircraft, parts equipment, assemblies, etc.

Duty #2 - Assist and participates the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics workforce management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.

Duty #3 - Participates in special logistics workforce related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.

Duty #4 - Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Additional Position Requirements:

1. The work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Obtain & maintain a Security clearance

• May be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Knowledge of organizational, concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.

5. Ability to work with, lead and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
